Dr. Sharon Fried Buchalter

“My mission is to educate, enlighten, and empower people throughout the world.”

Dr. Sharon Fried Buchalter is a distinguished clinical psychologist, life coach, public speaker, hypnotherapist, and author.  She has extensive experience as a marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, corporate trainer, corporate development manager, and career counselor.  In these diverse capacities, Dr. Sharon has worked with a wide range of populations—from inner city teenage parents to CEOs of major corporations.  She has helped people from all over the country increase happiness and success in both their personal and professional lives.

Dr. Sharon’s books New Parents are People Too:  8 Secrets to Surviving Parenthood as Individuals and as a Couple and Children are People Too:  Unlocking the 8 Secrets to Family Happiness feature her unique proven self-coaching methods.  Dr. Sharon is also a successful advice columnist and has contributed to numerous magazines, newspapers, and Internet sites, including LifetimeTV.com, REAL SIMPLE Magazine, Family Circle Magazine, Men’s Health Magazine, and  Parents Magazine. She has appeared on the Montel Williams Show and Glenn Beck Show on CNN.

Dr. Sharon earned her Masters in Business Administration from Bernard Baruch College, Masters in Social Work from New York University, and Masters and Doctorate in Counseling from Columbia University.  She has received the highest accreditation as a Board-Certified Diplomat Fellow in Advanced Child and Adolescent Psychology. 

Dr. Sharon resides in Boca Raton, Florida with her husband, David, and their two beautiful children, Daniel and Rachael.  Dr. Sharon considers her greatest accomplishment in life to be her children.
